About

From product design at early-stage startups to brand and identity work, I've spent my two decades in design and product in a mix of roles and disciplines. The last eight years have been deep in the music industry, unpacking some of the biggest challenges around copyright, rights management, and royalty collection. In product I found an inspiring combination of sharp minds, driven people, and the near-infinite potential of scalable tech. I love working shoulder to shoulder with my engineering counterparts and know enough jargon to be dangerous.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design from RMIT University Australia, and a UX certification from General Assembly. In my time in product I've built teams, managed amazingly talented people, and led product work end-to-end. I am driven by creative, informed and accountable work. On a good day I'll also crush you at table tennis.

Product and design lead
Led product and design at an early-stage venture focused on data-driven rights enforcement for music publishers and labels. Built proprietary infrastructure to identify high-value music use across user-generated content platforms at scale, and worked with rightsholder clients on enforcement workflows.

Post Up
Head of Product, Contract/Fractional
Hybrid product/design role at a post-production company building software to automate dailies processing for studios including Paramount, Amazon MGM, and HBO. Shipped MVP from whiteboard to alpha demo in three weeks. Currently advising on product strategy and direction.

RME
Product Lead
Led product on RME, a new rights collection organization launched by Pex for independent music creators. Customer development surfaced an unexpected segment with a clear economic pain: producers whose beats appeared in songs without proper attribution, breaking the metadata chain that drives royalty payments. Worked with the data team to surface a 100,000+ targeted outreach list from existing scraped UGC data. Followed with a lean v1 delivered as a royalty report to validate the model with the first customer before committing to a full build.

Pex Product Redesign
Lead Designer, Pex
Ground-up frontend rewrite and UX redesign of a music rights tracking platform used by claiming teams at major music publishers and labels. Pushed for user research that reframed the work, designed three product capabilities including a match detail modal that replaced the data-export workflow, and co-designed a token-based system pre-Tailwind that's still in production today.

Pex Attribution Engine

Multi-year design work on Pex's Attribution Engine, a real-time rights management and licensing system that identifies and attributes copyrighted audio at the point of upload. Designed the interfaces for music rights data including ownership relationships and complex global usage rules.
